Tahini salad is one of the most popular dishes in Israel and the Middle East. Known for its nutritious ingredients, Tahini is a rich source of calcium as well as protein, iron and many other minerals. Once you prepare the Tahini salad out of the Tahini paste you can eat it as it is with pita bread, or add it to many dishes such as chicken, fish, vegetable salad or other cooked vegetables. Another great way to eat it is to mix Tahini paste with pure honey for the best Halva spread.
mix 1 cup tahini with 1/2 cup cold ice water, 1 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemmon juice, 1 tbsp salt, 1 tbsp Halutza olive oil (if you like you can add 1 crushed garlic clove). Mix all well together untill becomes white smooth mixture. You can chop fresh parsley and add to this delicious mix - enjoy.
